The 2025-2026 proposed budget for the Mount Vernon City School District will be presented by Assistant Superintendent for Business Jose Formoso at the Board of Education meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. This will be the first presentation of the proposed budget, and a budget hearing will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6. The budget vote will take place on Tuesday, May 20.
The upcoming spring break recess allows families to see their primary care providers or visit Federally Qualified Health Centers to obtain immunizations and physical exams. To help protect students and schools, all students need to be up to date with vaccines and physical exams to attend school. If your student hasn’t had a physical exam within the past 12 months and /or needs vaccine(s), please schedule an appointment with your PCP immediately.
Please give the school a copy of the physical exam and vaccine record by April 22, 2025.
