Hamilton School hosts Black History Month celebration
Hamilton School hosted its Black History Month celebration on Friday, March 10, 2023. Students played games and ate together to celebrate Black history. The event was rescheduled from February 28 due to snow.
The gymnasium was decorated with stands for different games, arts and crafts, and food. Students played games such as Uno, Connect 4, darts, and more. There was a snow cone station as well. Students also designed stands where they ran their own "shop" and gave out candy, lemonade, or other treats and items.
The Hamilton School community then enjoyed a concert by the DWSA choir and orchestra.
